MARATHON (26.2 MILE) TRAIL RACE

SATURDAY

The Marathon starts and finishes at the Lopez Lake Recreation Area.

  • The course consists mainly of fire roads and some technical single track. (50% fire roads, 50% single track).  The views and hills are EPIC!
  • There are 8 shallow water crossings between miles 10-13! Participant supplied Drop bag service will be available for any dry socks/shoes/etc you may need.  Drop bags will be delivered to Aid Station 4 and returned to the Festival post-event.
  • There will be approximately 13 aid stations on the Full Marathon course that will be serving Culligan water, Fluid sports drink and a variety of salty/sweet/healthy snacks.
  • All athletes should carry a hydration pack or a 20 oz handheld bottle on the course that can be refilled at each aid station.

HALF MARATHON (13.1 MILE) TRAIL RACE

SUNDAY

The Half Marathon starts and finishes at the Lopez Lake Recreation Area.

  • The course consists mainly of fire roads and some technical single track. (50% fire roads, 50% single track)
  • There will be approximately 5 aid stations on the Half Marathon course that will be serving Culligan water, Fluid sports drink and a variety of salty/sweet/healthy snacks.
  • All athletes should carry a hydration pack or a 20 oz handheld bottle on the course that can be refilled at each aid station.

What you get!

All participants will receive a FINISHERS medal, branded event shirt, goody bag, award opportunities, ample on course Aid-Medical-Directional support and a First Class Festival Finish Line Party!  

BBQ and BEER can also be pre-purchased online at check out or on-site at the event, along with other vendor products and service sales.      

Parking:

Parking at Lopez Lake is $5.00 per person to be PREPAID at registration. Failure to prepay to park online will require $10.00 CASH per car at the front gate to the SLO County Parks Staff.

  • Special FINISHER award for all participants completing BOTH the 26.2 AND the 13.1 mile races.  Participants must complete both events within the course time limits to be eligible for special FINISHER award.

      5k | Trail & Obstacle Race

      $35 | 5K (3.1 MILE) TRAIL OBSTACLE RACE

      SATURDAY

      The 5k course starts and finishes at Lopez Lake Recreation Area.

      Our course includes mud, water, crawls, carries, walls, and hills… and is specifically designed for all abilities to join in on the fun.
      There will be 1 aid station on the 5k course serving Culligan water and Fluid Sports drink.
