Our 50Mile Ultra is not for the faint of heart or quads. It is LEGIT. You will do the 13M course and explore the fresh Wild Cherry Canyon and Pecho Coast trails but then head deep north into the uncharted rugged ranges of the private Land Conservancy and PG&E properties. This 50M race is not for beginners or walkers and without a doubt requires a combination of running and hiking in order to finish in the 15 hour time allowed. However, it CAN be your first ULTRA! with some quality training and our generous support we do our very best to ensure all of our athletes are safe and can finish the race. DO NOT be intimidated - but do get yourself trained
Our 26Mile Cross Country Marathon takes your love for long distance and adventure to the next level. Rolling on top of the 13M course featuring fragrant Wild Cherry Canyon and the Pecho Coast trails, the Marathon then sends you exploring the surrounding northern ranges with 360 degree views of all San Luis Obispo County. Wild manzanita, herbaceous sage and endless untouched coastline provide a feast for the senses. The 26M race has a generous 13 hour cut off and is open to trained hikers and runners of all levels.
Our 13Mile Cross Country Half is NOT flat but rolls gently inside the golden hills of Wild Cherry Canyon property. It boasts epic views of the entire Avila Beach coastline, including the Wild Cherry Canyon and Pecho Coast trails. The 13M race has a generous 6 hour cut off and is open to trained hikers and runners of all levels. Creek crossing is probable depending on seasonal rainfall.
Looking to sample the dirt lovers experience? Come see what the buzz is all about with a 5 mile relaxed hike or bite off a fast 5 mile run and then sit back and enjoy the Blue grass, the BBQ and the beer. This rolling course is all fire roads and stays inside the canyon with a few good climbs to reward you with breathtaking ocean views. All levels and youth welcome and a 4 hour course cut off.
